The Solomon Center is a new division of Yale Law School focusing on the intersection of law and medicine. Our challenge here was to combine the well-worn symbols of the two fields while avoiding cliché. What a great day it was when we realized that the tail of the caduceus's serpent could coil right into the scroll of a classic column.
